What is the warranty on a Huffy Sports basketball system and how do I file a warranty claim? Huffy Sports basketball system components carry the following warranties:
In the event your basketball system is damaged, please submit a photograph of the front, side and back of the unit to our customer service department to file a claim. What is a combo? A combo includes a backboard and rim only. It can be attached to a roof or wall using our 8839 and 8406 universal mounting bracket. It can also be mounted to an existing pole assembly to replace an existing backboard. If you do not own a pole system, the combo must be mounted to a roof or wall with a universal mounting bracket. Extension brackets and universal mounting brackets must be sold separately and are available at most sporting good outlets or through our customer service department. Please contact customer service for recommended replacement backboard sizes. Can I convert my portable unit to an in-ground unit? Due to the inherent differences in assembly and installation between a portable basketball unit and an in-ground system, you cannot convert your existing portable to a permanently affixed system. We do not offer or recommend this type of conversion, but both types of systems are sold at a variety of retailers across the country. Visit our retail locator for more information on these outlets.
